+ What areas do you serve?
I will be servicing women at all locations on Oahu until February 2019. I will be relocating in the spring and will service the Gulf Coast of Florida from April 2019 on, including home, birth center, and hospital births in:
- St. Petersburg
- Port Charlotte
+ How many clients do you take on at one time?
To ensure the best care possible, I take on no more than four births each month, including both doula and birth photography services. In the event that two births were to happen simultaneously, I have an incredible back up doula and photograper on stand-by for every birth.
+ Do you have a back up doula and birth photographer?
Absolutely! I know how unpredictable both life and births can be. Every doula and birth photography package includes having my back-up on call for your birth should an emergency arise, or in the event that I am at another birth.
+ What does your payment schedule look like?
For doula, birth photography, and newborn packages:
- A non-refundable $250 retainer fee is due at the time of booking your services. After the retainer is paid, the remaining balance must be paid in full by 36 weeks gestation. Should you require an alternate payment arrangement, I am happy to work out the detais with you.
For placenta encapsulation packages:
- A non-refundable $75 retainer fee is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 36 weeks gestation.
+ How do doulas and midwives differ?
Midwives are medical professionals that serve a clinical purpose. Doulas perform no clinical tasks, nor have other patients to care for, which allows us to give our undivided attention for the duration of your birth.
